Common questions about using Cora Music Pro.
Which platforms are covered?
- YouTube
- TikTok
All platforms are covered for non-sales corporate communication and content. See also our Terms of Service.
Does the music catalog differ between Creator and Pro?
Yes. The music catalog is shaped by our rightsholder partners — the artists, labels, and publishers we collaborate with. They decide whether their songs are available for Creator only or for both Creator and Pro. Because of this, the catalog you see on the website can differ between the two products and may change over time. If you need a specific track in Pro, contact our support team at hello@coramusic.com and we’ll check its availability.
Can we share the same video globally?
Yes. Cora Music Pro covers global distribution, as long as:
- The video is uploaded within the EU by a company active in the EU
- It is published on the approved platforms
- The company follows the Cora Music Pro Terms of Service
Do you need Cora Music Pro for internal use?
Yes, Cora Music Pro is also required for internal use.
The license covers both external and internal videos, provided that the purpose is to inform, educate, or support general brand communication, and not to directly promote or sell specific products or services.
Any content published on TikTok, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, or YouTube (even when embedded on an intranet) requires proper licensing.
Do you need Cora Music Pro even for short clips?
Yes. No matter the length of the video, you need proper licensing. Even short clips require cleared music.
Can we use the music in ads or campaigns with a CTA?
No. Cora Music Pro cannot be used for sales-driven purposes, including ads or content with a CTA (e.g., “buy now,” “book a demo”).
The music may be used in content that informs, educates, or supports brand communication, including tutorials, employer branding, editorial content, or storytelling.
Can we use Cora Music Pro for YouTube ads?
Ads with sales purposes are not allowed.
Can we use Cora Music Pro to boost reach on social media?
Yes. Paying for promotion (e.g., sponsored posts) is fine, as long as the content does not have a direct sales purpose that breaches the Terms of Service.
Can we use the music on TikTok?
Yes. Cora Music Pro covers TikTok videos published by your company, as long as the content does not breach the Terms of Service, for example by being part of a direct sales campaign, paid advertising, or promoting a specific commercial offer.
Can we use the music in recruitment videos?
Yes. Recruitment and employer branding videos are permitted use cases, as their purpose is to inform potential candidates and showcase workplace culture, not to sell products or services.
If we only show the video internally at a meeting, do we need a license?
Yes, if the video is published on a platform (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok), even for internal use.
Do we need to add any credits in the video?
With Cora Music Pro, the music is cleared and does not require crediting.
However, we highly encourage crediting the artists and songwriters when possible.
Suggested format: “Music by [Artist Name], licensed via Cora Music.”
Can we edit or remix the songs?
You are allowed to use different sections of a track, but you cannot manipulate or recompose the music in any way.
Can we add a logo or text overlay to videos with the music?
Yes. Adding graphic elements, logos, and explanatory text is fine, as long as the video does not breach the Terms of Service, for example by being used in direct sales, paid advertising, or to promote a specific commercial offer.
Is there a limit on how many videos we can publish?
No. You can publish unlimited videos while your subscription is active.
How long are our videos covered if we cancel the subscription?
All videos published during an active subscription remain cleared forever. You can’t use the music in new productions after cancellation.
Can an influencer promoting our brand use Cora Music Pro?

For example, it cannot be part of a direct sales campaign, paid advertising, or promote a specific commercial offer. Content that is editorial, educational, or storytelling in nature is permitted.
